SKIN CAREHere lately since the weather gets so cold our skin gets really dry. We already have naturally dry skin but we've found ways to prevent that. We wanted to make our own face scrub because it's a lot better when you use natural products and know exactly what's in it. Also, there are other face skin care lotions that we use that we buy at the store. Not all of these products are used for dry skin but also for blemishes and pimples. So here they are: DIY Lemon sugar body scrub: This is a scrub that we found on Pinterest and we love it. It actually works really well and all the products you use to it should be in your kitchen at home. It's so simple to make. What you will need: 2 cups of sugar, 1/4 cup coconut oil, Tbsp. of lemon juice, 1/2 Tbsp. of honey, Tsp. Apple cider vinegar, and a jar for holding with a tight lid. Directions: pour all the ingredients into a bowl. Stir until it sticks together. The put in the jar. Applying: rub the scrub onto face. Let it sit for about 15-20 min. Then rinse it off and your face should be smooth. Warning: i suggest not going outside when having it on your face becaus of the lemon juice in there. Which could burn your face. Clinique and Estée Lauder:
These products work really well on us. You can buy them at any drug store I'm pretty sure. It tells you the directions and how to use it on the back, which makes it very easy to use. One is and emergency mask, then a foam cleanser and makeup remover lotion. SNOW & PONCHOSHey guys!! So it finally snowed for the first time this year and it's been crazy! Right now we can't even pull the car out of the garage because the snow is stacked up about 3 feet high. It's a bummer because we had to walk to cvs to get more milk haha. Anyways, we just wanted to show you guys an outfit post for the winter and with the snow in the background. It was really hard to take these pictures because it was super bright, cold and in some places the snow was up to our knees. Which made it hard to walk. We didn't really know how the pictures would turn out but they turned out pretty well. So here it is: Ally's outfit: •red and black poncho: Rue 21 •high waisted jeans: Charlotte Russe •White snow boots: Polo •Hair: pulled to the side Addison's outfit:
•White and blue poncho: Old Navy •Army green jeans: Charlotte Russe •Snow Boots: Polo •Pearl Earrings: Brighton •hair: messy knot up do Hey friends!!! Our favorite holiday is CHRISTMAS! Christmas is such a fun, happy holiday. We love everything about it. Right now we are on winter break, so NO school. WOOHOO! So we are showing you guys three different fun diy's around the house for christmas. It's an ugly christmas sweater, decor, and an easy gift idea. ENJOY ;) Mason jar gift. This gift idea is super easy and good for last minute idea. In the jar we put socks and beanies. Then, you just decorate and make it look cute. What you need:
Reindeer and snowflake decor. This fun decor was so much fun to make and only took us about 10 minutes to put together. We found this idea on pinterest and had to do it. It's all made out of popsicle sticks and hot glue. We used gold spray paint and glitter, for color. To add the nose on the reindeer we used a red pom-pom. What you need:
,Ugly Christmas sweaters.
This diy took a little longer than the ones before but it was worth it. We got the sweaters at a thrift store. Then, we got ribbon, pom-poms, lights and fun decorations to put on from Hobby Lobby. We hand stitched the lights and ribbon but it works the same as hot gluing the items on. You can get any of these products at your local craft store. What you will need:
Hey friends! One of our favorite seasons besides summer is FALL! There are so many cute things to wear and you can layer things up. It's not too hot and not too cold. But, the sad thing is fall is almost over. :( We wanted to share with ya'll what we are wearing for thanksgiving and hope to give you all some ideas. So here they are: Addison's

Hey friends!! The Hurst twins are BACK! We are so sorry that we have not posted in so long. We've been super busy with school and extra curricular activities like football, dance, pep-rallies and basketball. Right now we are on Thanksgiving break, which we are very excited for. It feels nice to not have a schedule or school work. Now that we have time to think, we have lots of ideas for our next posts.
For this post, we wanted to give you all an update about us and a highlight that we had these past couple of months. So our dad recently bought a Volkswagon bus, which is really cool and fun because we feel like hippies in it. Our dad knows this nice man who is an amazing professional photographer and he wanted us to take pictures with the bus. Our older sister took a few pictures with us also. This hippie photo session was fun and it turned out really cute. Here are some of the amazing pictures by Jeff Driver. Hey friends! So recently, we went to DC and NYC and we wanted to share with you all what we did. :)This trip was so much different for us because we usually go out of the country for vacation and we have rarely been in the States. The reason why we post about our trips is for other people to realize that you should go out and see other places, instead of stay in one place your whole entire life. If you stay in one place, you won't be able to have as many opportunities and see many different cultures that you might never get to experience. DAY 1 This day is the day that we arrived in DC. We spent most of the day on a plane because we live way down south, so it takes a lot longer to get there. We had to travel by ourselves for the first time which we were very nervous at first but then it turned into a great experience for us. Once we got there we left our hotel and went to all the memorials. We traveled mainly on foot but we also took the metro system which is pretty cool. The metro system was so much fun to take. In DC there is a lot of beautiful flowers and parks. So we got to walk through many parks and it was so beautiful. We finally arrived outside of the White House and to be honest its so much smaller in person. When we were walking up to it there was a huge protesting group which was very interesting. The locals told us that there is always protesting there. Then we went to the memorials and it was so gorgeous because the sun was going down and the buildings were lit up. DAY 2 The reason why we went to DC was because our Dad was chosen from the EEOC out of three people to speak for them and the American Disability Act. The reason why he was chosen was because he was discriminated by a car dealership that he worked for because of his disability. He also changed the law for people with his disability. Our Dad has MS which is a disability that makes all of his joints hurt and it makes him harder to get up and move. He has a lot of pain and some days he would stay in bed all day but he has good and bad days. We are very proud of him to still push through everyday and have an opportunity like this. So that day we had to dress up nice and go to the department of justice building to see our dad speak. The attorney General, the Senator, Paul Abdul and many other significant others were there speaking also. After that we went to the EEOC office and he also spoke there. Then we went to the hotel and rested because it was a very long day for us. Then we went to China Town and ate dinner there. DAY 4 This day we went to 2 museums. We went to the natural history and art museum. We honestly do not like going to museums much but we really did see a lot of neat things there. We then walked through this sculpture garden. Then we walked a very long way to the Capitol and it was so hot that day so, it took us a while to get there. We got to tour inside the Capitol which was very petty inside. It was under construction while we were there, so we didn't get to see many rooms inside it. DAY 5 Early that morning we went on a bus to New York City. We liked traveling on that bus because we got to see the whole east coast. We went to New York just for a day to see our older sister who was taking Broadway classes there. We first walked to Times Square and it was so much smaller in person then it was in a movie but it was very neat to see. Then we went on a ferry ride that we thought was going to Ellis Island but actually went to a different island. It was still cool to see because we got to see the whole city from afar. We then ate at a hot dog stand because why not in New York. After that we met our sister at her hotel. She then walked us down to this unique market place. Sadly it was time for us to leave New York and head back to DC. Well that is it for this post. We hope you all liked it. Sorry that this post was very long but the next posts hopefully won't be this long. Thank you all for reading this and come back for more posts. :)
Hey friends, we just got back home from the mountains! We have spent the last four days there with our best friend, Berkley. There will some pictures with her on this post.We had such a fun time there. So for this weeks post we are going to share with you all, what we did in Ruidoso, NM. DAY 1 The day we arrived it was raining so we went in the Jacuzzi that night and played cards outside. There wasn't any service where our cabin was so we decided to play cards a lot that night. While we were playing cards, we ate these yummy snacks that we call peanut butter chews. We also tried to bear watch but we didn't see any. DAY 2 The morning of the second day, we walked down to the river. It was so gorgeous. Then we got back to the cabin and got ready to go shopping in town. We shopped a lot that day and got adorable rompers that will be featured on another post. For lunch, we went to a place called the Village Buttery. It had a bakery inside and a café. Their pies are the best but we didn't get any pictures there. After lunch, we saw a cute sign that you could take pictures by, which was next to the store J Roberts. J Roberts is one of our favorite stores, so we were glad to be able to shop there. After we were done shopping, we went back to the cabin and walked down to the river again. We tried to hop rocks but we saw 2 snakes. It scared us so, we decided to go back to the cabin. Then we played a game of croquet. The rest of that day we went in the Jacuzzi and played cards again. DAY 3 The third day we went shopping again that morning. For lunch, we ate at this pizza place called, Café Rio. They have the BEST pizza ever. We love that place so much. If you just get a slice, they are bigger than your face but they are so yummy. Then we walked around a little and headed back to the cabin. We decided to get over our fear of snakes and try to hop rocks. We hopped rocks upstream for a very long time. Finally, we found a mini waterfall, which was so gorgeous. We tried to catch little fish with cups but, we only caught one because they are really fast. After we were done at the mini waterfall, we went across this beautiful bridge that had the river on both sides. Then we headed back to the cabin and tried to bear watch. We had no luck in seeing any bears that night again. DAY 4
Sadly, this was our last day. All we did this day was drive back home. This trip was so much fun and we had a blast. Ruidoso is such a beautiful place.
